'In dreams' is a very personal project that came up from a petition by Olga Pérez, a good friend and Die Stadt fan. After finishing the Ayesta Showcase, she asked if we could write an 'electronic lullaby' for his son Juan.
We accepted the challenge, but we also thought that we could do something more. So we set 'In dreams' out as a two-pieces work: the lullaby and a long ambient oniric composition. Finally we added in the last minute an instrumental version of the lullaby.
Since the beggining we wanted to have the participation of Inmaculada Mohedano, an excelent soprano and member of the Ziryab Choir from Córdoba, Spain. It became clear that her involvement was a necessary condition to have the work done. Thanks to her, guitarist Álvaro Domínguez got involved, too. So 'In dreams' became Die Stadt's most participative project to date.
The result is an interesting ambient EP, suitable to be swept away to the world of dreams...
